ON HOLD>>>>>>>>>>> Very nice pair of 1920s bronze wall sconces. Very elegant with restrained design elements not relying on any over the top decoration. Nice thistle medallion front and center, well proportioned castle top design at bottom of candle sleeve, slender arms bracing the long candle sleeves, muted reds in the trefoils and muted blues in the triangles, all complimenting each other on a back plate mimicking the wooden hand carved plaques found throughout Europe. The thistle especially looks like it was carved in the Black Forest. We hand paint the candle sleeves to match the original patina on the fixtures.
