Although "scarce" and "rare" are used so much as to dilute their meaning, once a while "scarce" is an understatement. This is the first pair of these bronze sconce backs we have ever had in 25 years of collecting. Made by Mid-West Chandelier Co. these show how delicate the bronze filigree can be produced by master craftsman. The casting is sharp and precise with just a wonderful, pleasing overall design. Slip shades in excellent condition with no noticeable chips and no cracks. Both have turn switches behind the shade but the switches are in different places, one at 12 o-clock and one at 3 o-clock, shown in one of the images. 11 1/2 inches tall 6 3/4 inches wide 3 3/4 inch projjection
