This style of vintage wall lights, with the enclosed shade, were a little later to the party than the open bottom shades dating to the 1930s. This pair has a nice design of segmentation which is on both the white porcelain backplates and the shades. The shades have a white fired on paint with a clear patterned section at the bottom to diffuse the light. These would be great over a semi-recessed medicine cabinet in the bathroom or over a kitchen sink. The shade opening and the fitter are large enough for a standard light bulb. Outlets have been disabled for safety concerns and you can mount them so the outlets are at the top, out of sight. Height: 4 3/4 inches Width: 4 3/4 inches Projection: 8 3/4 inches
