Sconces are solid bronze with most likely brass at the base of the candle sleeves. Sconces are in their original finish and patina with just a light wax to help protect the integrity of the finish. With a nod to Poseidon, (Greek deity of the sea and horses) two Atlantian Crowned Winged Seahorses supporting and protecting the Galleon from below. Atop the sconce is a rounded trefoil, symbolic of the Trinity, so the Galleon is protected from above and from below and leading the way on the top fore sail is the cross.
