The well designed and proportioned glass shade really stands out against the simple white porcelain back plate. The shade is mostly covered with a fired on white paint the clear bottom adds the light where you want it and the clear glass ribs against the front adds dimension and design to the shade. Both the vintage glass shade and the vintage white porcelain back plate are in excellent condition with no noticeable chips and no cracks. 2 bulb fixture will handle two 75 watt bulbs.
