On the smaller size for antique schoolhouse lighting, this fixture is only 8 1/2 inches at the widest, which makes it a wonderful size for over a kitchen or bathroom sink, or other work area where you want a vintage touch. Nice geometric styling, typical of the late 20s and 30s. The vintage crystal bottom glass is held in place by its original metal band which can be removed to change the light bulb, although we find it easier to just remove the entire globe at the fitter to change the bulb. The drop as shown is 21 1/2 inches on a new brushed nickel fitter. Drop can be changed to fit your needs. This brushed nickel fitter is also available in a flush mount. Wired to handle up to 100 watt light bulb.
