Snappy Art Deco flush mount ceiling fixture with a drop of only 5 3/4 inches! Probably from the early 30s when manufacturers were scaling back production costs due to the great depression, but still shows some of the vibrant deco style which made that time in American design so appealing. The glass is sort of a Lemon Meringue color with the ribbed conical portion sitting atop a beveled and ribbed base, giving it a solid feel. We also have another glass shade in pink which could be exchanged for the lemon colored shade, see last image. Rewired with UL listed parts including code require ground wire. These also have a metal heat shied installed between the light bulb and the ceiling because the bulb is so close to the ceiling which would be a fire hazard if not installed.
