Late '20s to early '30s is the timeframe of this fixture's manufacture. Has the distinct flavor of the American Prairie style popularized by Wright and Sullivan, among other architects. This fixture has a very unusual feature: the metal medallion which sits across 2 shades, held only in place by gravity. As you can imagine, this easily removable medallion is often lost. Refinished to match its original color of antique golden. Height: 23 inches Width: 17 1/2 inches
