Single bulb solid bronze ceiling fixture from the Art Deco era of the late 20s to the early 30s. Original finish and patina with just a light cleaning and waxing to help preserve the 80 year old finish. There is a lot going on style wise in this beautiful pendant. Alongside the Art Deco influence there is a bit of Neo-Classic design elements, especially in the bronze sides between the shades. Laurel leaves and what look very much like a medallion hanging off a pearl necklace. The shades are cream and tan with a very organic leaf look and again the laurel leaves on each side with a torch near the top. Maybe a nod towards the Olympic Games.
