You really do not see much Chintz in vintage or antique lighting, but this exception works really well. The medallion design was most likely matched to a fabric print, such as wall covering, drapes, or tablecloth or maybe even a china pattern. The prints in the medallion all have the same orientation. The single we currently have available has a slightly different chintz pattern in the medallion. Globe is a matte custard glass with hand painted lines giving it depth and drawing the eye to the medallion. It is shown on a painted vintage fitter.
