Priced for the pair. Circa 1918 cast iron porch lights with mica insert shade. Refinished in an oil rubbed bronze color which really is a great compliment to the amber mica. You really need to see these with the lights on to grasp the wonderful glow the amber mica provides. One note of caution, because of the way the mica is produced these shades need to be mechanically fastened (not just glued with silicone) to the inside of the the fixture. This is important in an outside fixture where the mica is subject to sun and rain and could pull away from a glued surface. Since these are cast iron, prone to rust, and intended to be used outdoors they have been bead blasted front AND back down to bare metal, sprayed with a rust inhibitor primer then layered with 3 different coats of paint and finished with a special hardening top coat which is weather and scratch resistant. (Or we can just spray paint them black if you like). Rewired with UL listed parts including a porcelain socket and code required ground wire. Note the extra touch where the mounting nut matches the color of the fixture itself. Height: 11 inches Width: 4 1/4 inches Projection: 6 inches Width of back plate: 4 inches
