Now it is very comfortable adding some vintage charm to a modern kitchen, bathroom, or any other room in the home. Milk glass upper section shields the eye from the glare of the light bulb while the crystal bottom glass disperses the light down and out. The shape of the design in the bottom crystal was designed specifically to act like a prism and direct the light downward and has "Patent Pend" cast into the rim of the bottom glass. The milk glass upper and crystal bottom is held together by a Nickel plated band which opens to allow the bottom crystal to be removed for easy access to change the bulb. The vintage ceiling fitter is available in a polished (shown) or brushed finish. Because of its commercial heritage, it can handle up to 150 watts.
