From the late 20s or 30s comes this wonderful floral patterned shade on a vintage brass floral ceiling ceiling canopy. The fired on colors on the flowers and vine are still vibrant with only a subtle loss of paint. The flowers and buds are red, yellow and tan which look terrific with the green vines and leaves against a light yellow / beige background. The artistic mastery of the design is apparent in how the flowers in bloom wrap themselves each corner. With a thin black line highlighting the floral band of decoration and separating the top and bottom which is finished in a sponge paint type design of pink or mauve against a white background. Shade attributed to Consolidated Glass Co. Ceiling fitter has a patina added to the brass. Rewired to UL standards which include CODE REQUIRED ground wire. Drop as shown: 9 3/8 inches. There are options if longer drop is needed. Width of shade on diagonal: 10 inches. Single socket with 100 watt max. Perfect for a Arts & Crafts, cottage, or bungalow kitchen.
