Original Finish & Patina Vintage Slag Glass Shades . Well made and nicely proportioned antique chain hung 5 light chandelier in the Arts & Crafts & Craftsman style, c1915. Looks to have retained its original finish and patina. Probably a polished & shellacked brass finish which has aged to a light warm Ochre color. Vintage cut out shades with caramel slag glass from the same time period and are a perfect compliment to the warm color of the fixture body. What the images could not capture is the way the color from the slag glass shades "washes" up the curved trunk of the fixture which also has a pressed-in design similar to the pattern of the shades. Perfect for over a dining room table where the center drop would highlight a centerpiece of fresh cut flowers. Remarkable and beautiful antique lighting chandelier fixture.
