Although from the 1930s, this forward thinking fixture has what it takes to be classified as a Mid-Century stand out. Images were taken just before fixture was dis-assembled and the chrome pieces were sent out to be re-plated. There was minor pitting, common in these older vintage chrome pieces, and when re-plated these pieces will be shiny as new. The cast iron burgundy colored pieces will be repainted as well. Not shown is the chrome ceiling canopy which, of course, comes with the fixture. With Lindbergh crossing the Atlantic in '27, aviation was a popular theme during the Art Deco era. The bottom cone on this fixture is very similar to the nose cone of the Spirit of St. Louis.
