Heavy and solid antique cast iron and steel flush mount ceiling porch lighting fixture. Has retained its original vintage amber glue chip shade which is in remarkable condition with no cracks. It is signed Moe Bridges in 2 places, cast into both the ceiling canopy and skirt. The lantern styling with rope twist detailing around the ceiling canopy suggests very early 20th century. Open bottom for easily replacing light bulbs. Refinished in an oil rubbed bronze look.
