This highly sought after antique porch light fixture shows a strong Asian influence, popular in the Arts & Crafts movement around 1900 - 1910. The structures of Greene & Greene show this influence in the very early 1900s (Greene & Greene architects went so far as to have Grueby Tile Works reproduce large Oriental vent tiles that can still be seen in their homes in Pasadena, with originals in the Gamble House). This vintage copper porch lamp is hand hammered copper and brass. The arm from the back plate is brass; the rest is hand hammered copper.A perfect mate for an Asian inspired Bungalow or Cottage.
