Intricate and beautify designed cast iron sconces from the 1920s which retain their rich original patina and finish. Carefully washed and just lightly waxed to help prolong their finish. The deep red back plate was repainted after carefully matching the color to the original red found beneath parts of the outer casting. The casting is crisp with very little paint loss. Design has some Art Nouveau and Victorian influences, typical of the cast iron designs found in France during the 20s and 30s. Rewired and come with our special socket covers shown.
