From the heights of the Art Deco movement and the depths of the Great Depression comes Lincoln Lighting Co's, Detroit, Mich., most opulent and beautiful chandelier.
I cannot even begin to describe the intricate, meticulous, detailed and harmonious Art Deco designs incorporated into this production fixture, so take some time and check out the close ups for an inspiring look at some great American design (sadly missing from today).
The time, expertise, commitment, and design savvy Lincoln needed to bring this fixture to market is extraordinary considering the times in which it was created.
Back then the shareholders profits were just as important a part of the business model as was beauty, pride, and competitiveness. Sadly, the great depression saw a turning away from this kind of expression to only a profit based industry.
Rewired to UL standards.
