These wonderful Caribbean colors would brighten even the darkest & cloudiest Seattle day in mid-winter. (I am a Seattle native so I do know, which is why I now live in the mountains of Arizona). Palm leaves and a setting sun against a blazing sky adorn the three cameos around the bottom side of the globe. A cinnamon brown sponge style paint around the top and very bottom. Colors have been fired onto the glass which is why they are still vibrant after almost 90 years. Very little loss of paint, only some minor wear or weak initial painting around the edges of the fixture. No cracks or noticeable chips. Shown on a solid brass ceiling fitter from the same era as the globe. Rewired to UL standards including code required ground wire.
