The finish on these look almost as fresh when they were first installed in a 1920s - 1930s home. The solid bronze back plate and arms have an almost copper tone to their original patina. they were gently washed and a light coat of wax has been applied to protect their wonderful finish.
Unicorns, lions, thistles, crown, and shield adorn the top of the back plate.
