Rare black porcelain back with a ribbed pattern along with a camphor glass shade with a similar ribbed design. These old lights are getting harder to find as their appeal continues to this day. These would have been in bungalow (or any style of home in their day) bathrooms or kitchens where a black accent was used. The rectangle shaped shade would well sinc with a subway tiled wall or backsplash. This vintage fixture is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks however there are a few pin holes in the surface which happened during manufacture and were sold just that way (see last image). Today they add a note of confidence to their authenticity and character, just the way classic rock music is set apart from the sterile pop music of today. (Both have their place).
