Unique white porcelain ceiling fixtures on the smaller or petite size. Unique in that they all have a removable bottom lens which slides up into the bottom of the milk glass portion.
The bottom lens all have a very slight purple hue to them. This is from sunlight coloring the manganese which was used in the manufacture of the glass.
Very utilitarian looking, most likely they are from the 1920s when the "sanitized" look was popular and also in the late 20s and 30s manufacturers were producing a one piece shade with milk glass uppers and a clear patterned bottom.
These would be a perfect fit for a hallway, bathroom, kitchen or a closet where today's code requires a completely enclosed bulb. Although small in size they would easily handle a 20 watt LED bulb which is comparable to a 100 watt incandescent bulb.
4 3/4" square at the ceiling
