Vintage pair of cast hammered brass wall sconces in the Craftsman, Art & Crafts, or Revival style from the early part of the 20th Century. Signed S & A on the back for Shapiro & Arnston of New York, well known manufacturers of quality pieces with their distinctive floral cut outs on the candle sleeves. Refinished to match the original hammered finish look. A touch of Moorish design is felt in the bulbous center medallion and the top onion arch. Great to flank a river rock fireplace in a cozy bungalow, brick Tudor, or seaside cottage.

Note: The chain pull from the bottom of the sconces has been removed from all, the cardboard candle sleeves may be a different color.
