Holophane shades are known for their incredible clarity and shine. They sparkle when lit like no other, probably one reason Holophane is still in business today. They have ribs all along the inside and outside. Holophane was the industry leader on light refracting technology and each rib of glass is precisely placed to disperse the light in exactly the manner wanted. The fitter on the glass shade is an original Holophane fitter. The lens is shown by itself along with an image of the fixture without it in place. There are two pieces of glass held together by 3 polished clips.
These antique shades can either be pole hung, on a chain, or mounted on a flush to the ceiling fitter, which is shown. No additional charge for any option up to 24 inches in length.
Signed Holophane USA around the bottom insert lens.
Great way to light up a kitchen or bath.
The drop as shown is 13 1/2 inches with a diameter of 12 inches on the shade. The bottom opening is 5 1/4 inches. |
