Solid red brass / bronze back plates which have been polished to a high shine against a contrasting dark brown patina. The clear frosted ribbed shades balance the design and movement of the back plates. The clear frosted shades show a warm rose color in the images where the light bulb is on, due to the low 15 watt bulb used against the purple background. The true color of the shades is shown in the images where the light bulb is off, just a clear frosted shade.
Squarely from the heart of the deco movement when that design trend was becoming stronger, more refined, restrained and balanced. Throw in a touch of Egyptian Revival and the result is a solid and dignified pair of vintage slip shade sconce fixtures proud to light your home.
